"Try That in a Small Town" Country Song
Country singers and Hollywood actors are speaking out using their fame to express their political views. The Aldean's for one are pro-military and definitely do not support the current administration. They even posted a picture holding a sticker that said "Don't blame me. I voted for Trump."
Jason Aldean's latest song "Try That in A Small Town" lyrics, are accused of containing coded threats against Black people.
“Try that in a small town/ See how far ya make it down the road/ Around here, we take care of our own.” “Got a gun that my granddad gave me/ They say one day they’re gonna round up/ Well that s--- might fly in the city/ Good luck.”
There has been a debate whether the song is raciest? Aldean insists the song has nothing to do with race. The song has prominent conservative defenders and massive popularity. “Try That in a Small Town,” which cinched a No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 amid surging sales.
